Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you before signing up. By creating an account you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you meet the age requirement.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in email secure — anyone with access to your inbox can sign into your account through the magic-link flow. If you believe your account has been compromised, email us and we'll help.

One account per athlete. Accounts are not transferable.

GetRecruited is a one-time purchase of $100 USD that grants the purchasing account access to the playbook content available at the time of purchase, plus any updates we publish afterward, through your signing day.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe's receipts serve as your record of purchase.

Refund policy: if you change your mind within 14 days of purchase, email [email protected] and we'll refund you in full, no questions. After 14 days, all sales are final.

Access is granted to the account that paid, and is not transferable to another person or account. Refunded accounts lose access at the time of refund.

GetRecruited gives you a structured playbook, tools, and a directory of programs. The content is for educational and informational purposes only. It's general guidance based on how college recruiting typically works — not personalized advice, and not a substitute for working directly with your high school coach, club coach, an athletic director, an academic advisor, or a recruiting consultant on the specifics of your situation.

We do not guarantee any recruiting outcome. We can't promise that following the playbook will result in offers, scholarships, roster spots, or any specific result. Recruiting depends on your performance, your sport's landscape, coach decisions, academic eligibility, and many other factors outside our control.

College recruiting rules, program details, coach assignments, and roster needs change constantly. We work hard to keep the playbook and directory current, but we don't warrant that every fact, statistic, deadline, or rule reference will be accurate or up to date in every situation. Always verify time-sensitive details (eligibility windows, contact dates, program staff) directly with the relevant governing body or program before acting on them.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we discover meaningful errors, we fix them as quickly as we can.

The playbook content — articles, frameworks, tools, directory data, and design — is owned by GetRecruited and protected by copyright. You may use it for your personal recruiting journey. You may not republish it, resell it, or build a competing product from it.

The data you enter — your profile, target list, notes, ratings — is yours. We store it to operate the Service, and you can delete it at any time from the Danger zone of your profile.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anyone other than yourself (or, if you're a parent setting up an account, your athlete)
• Scrape, harvest, or republish the directory or any other content
• Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass authentication, paywall, or rate limits
• Upload or transmit malware
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate someone else

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — typically with notice, but immediately in cases of clear abuse, fraud, or risk to other users or the Service.

Termination by us within the 14-day refund window entitles you to a refund unless the termination is for fraud or abuse.

If something goes wrong and you bring a claim against GetRecruited, the most we can owe you, in total, is the amount you paid us — $100. This applies to the fullest extent the law allows.

We're not responsible for knock-on losses such as missed offers, lost scholarships, missed deadlines, or emotional distress. The product is a guide, not a fix-everything; final outcomes are yours to own.

GetRecruited is operated from Portugal. These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, and any dispute that can't be resolved informally goes to the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

If you're a consumer in the EU, UK, or another region with mandatory consumer-protection laws, this clause doesn't take away protections you're entitled to under the law of where you live.

Before filing a claim, please email [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to resolve it with you directly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. If the change is material, we'll email registered users. If you keep using GetRecruited after we publish an update, the new version applies to you.

If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Where possible, the unenforceable part will be read narrowly so that it's enforceable.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the full agreement between you and GetRecruited about the Service. They replace any previous agreement on the same subject.
